RIP Elvie

Elvie, a dog related to my human, has just passed away this morning after a long bout with a disease affecting his liver.

He’s a gentle giant who would not hurt a fly but yet, will lay down his life for his humans.

Go home Elvie. We’ll meet one day at the Rainbow Bridge.

Dogs of Pulau Ketam

Quick post as my human is busy but the news that some dogs are abandoned in an island as their owner doesn’t want them has raised concerns all over.

Please go over to this site to get more information and updates. If you wish to help, the information is all there.

Mama Cat

The hoomans went out for a quick dinner tonight at the golf club.

They were not alone. A little mama cat was waiting to be fed. The mama cat was heavily pregnant and although cats are my sworn enemies; I can’t help but feel a bit sad for the mama cat.

Mama cat looks so fierce…

The Mama cat spoke with one of the hoomans. She meowed and meowed to let people know that she is hungry. The food had not arrived yet but Mama Cat was very patient. She sat and waited for the food to come.

Old Man feeds some chicken…

The Old Man took some chicken and fed the Mama Cat. He wanted to leave some for us but Big Mama said that chicken was bad for us. 😦

Mama Cat: Thanks!

Mama Cat: Thanks! I think I’ve had enough…

The Mama Cat looks well fed. I think some people at the golf club has been feeding the Mama Cat. Anyway, the hoomans think that if you have pets and don’t wish to have more kittens or puppies, it is best to spay them.

Well, Mama Cat can’t be helped ‘coz she’s a stray. 😦

After the meal, the Mama Cat went away and the hoomans came home to us. 🙂

GoodBye Earl McDonnell

My hooman has been a fan of this particular comic for a while – Mutts.

So, when she heard of news that the muse (I was thinking moose) of the comic had passed away, she was sad.

Anyway, here is the entire news from the newsletter.

Bye Bye Earl, you’ve been a great joy to your owner, Patrick and the source of inspiration for the Mutts comic.

We will miss you…

Oofy 2003

This was my 姐姐 Oofy before God decided to call her home.

According to my hooman, my 姐姐 Oofy was a very gentle dog. She came out of the blue into our home and lives.

However, God decided to call her home after seeing her suffer for so long after her spaying operation. 😦

She is not too far away, the hoomans have buried her in the garden where the lovely tulip grows and blossoms every few months.

I wish I could have met her. We could have had a lot of fun. I know that we will meet one day, at the Rainbow Bridge.

God Bless You Oofy!!

Oscar, May You Rest In Peace

I just got word that one of my fellow dog bloggers, Oscar has just crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

I’m am so sorry for your lost.

Anyway, hope that you’ll have lots of fun there and maybe you can hook up with my big sis Oofy (a mixed Miniature Schnauzer) with that puffy hair-do and goofy smile. She’s a darling of a dog and you’ll have loads of fun together.

God Bless!
